Project Brief
Website redesign is at the core of our business. Lou was referred to us by the Yogi / Gong Master Mark Swan as unfortunately Lou had a really poorly, under performing Wordpress site and so asked us to take over the website design, management and hosting.
Concept
Before work began on the website redesign, we liaised with the previous design and marketing agency, to gain access to the old site, allowing us to create a complete backup of both site files and database, ready to migrate to a new server.
Before migration we also performed a comprehensive website audit on the old Wordpress site, which allowed us to make it at least usable while we worked on the redesign.
Branding
Brand Guidelines
The logo of natural healing powers produced by the sound waves of the gong, and perhaps also the health benefits of grounding paired with a monospaced slab serif typeface.

Web Design
The new website design is like night and day compared to the old site, and more importantly, it works!
The old website was so slow and unresponsive, leaving it virtually impossible to use. The previous web design was quite dark and uninspiring so the main focus for the redesign was for a site that is light and airy, almost uplifting, but one which is also super-quick to load, one which would ultimately generate leads for these beautiful bespoke hand crafted wooden gong stands.
Mobile Responsive Design
The old Wordpress site wasn't fully responsive, there were numerous bugs and design flaws. This was at the forefront of the design brief to ensure the new website not only looked good, but performed well on all devices.
Tech Support
Not only do we offer web design, but for all clients we are a resource of knowledge, helping out day-to-day with everything from email to internet security. We're more than happy to pass on our 22 years expertise.
Final Thoughts
The most important thing is the user experience has improved, the website is now generating leads and looks great on any device. Oh, and go take a look at Lou's Instagram feed, it really is a thing of beauty!
