The Dukes are an exciting new group of talented male performers, all with West End credentials to their names who perform at events all over Europe, at weddings, corporate events and private gigs. We were delighted to be asked to build their new website.
Being approached to design and manage a brand new website is always really exciting for everyone involved. First of all, we secure a domain name, setup the server for website hosting and email, before designing a teaser holding page.
Sharing teaser links on social media while we work on the new website, such holding pages can be invaluable in allowing you to build and interact with your future client base.
We can't take any credit for the logo design, that was all down to talents of Craig Glover who used the free font 'Capture it' for the main typeface adding the tilted hat and script font, but like any good logo design, it set the tone for the website.

After discussions with the client and armed with the new logo and electronic press kit (EPK) we had all we needed to begin the website design.
The brief called for a 'clean and simple site, like an ad for GQ magazine' after all, this website is for a male band, kind of 'rat pack with a modern twist'. The early stages of the design process, understanding the clients wishes and what they can see in their minds eye, is truly a challenge we thrive on.
There has to be a synergy there between us and the client, and fulfilling the design requirement is something we always try to overachieve in. There is no better feeling than when you hear a client say 'I love it!'.
We design mobile friendly websites to attract, engage & convert. But they don't only just look good on any device, they're designed specifically to engage with visitors.
With the percentage of mobile device website traffic still increasing, all sites launched are designed with mobile in mind to help your business attract, engage and connect with your users.
We want to design a website you can be proud of, one which is fast loading on mobile with Google-friendly code and one that's found easily in search. The Dukes site ticks all these boxes, and so many more.
